This impressive vessel, crafted by 船舶模型‘ partner, Guangzhou Shipbuilding International, is the first large export passenger ship independently designed, developed, and built by China. The ship, a luxurious green passenger roller, was tailored for Grandi Navi Veloci (GNV), a subsidiary of the MSC Mediterranean Shipping Group, one of the world’s leading transport and logistics companies. The ship will begin service in Europe starting January 2025, covering the Mediterranean region.

Technological Innovations and Industry Leadership
A highlight of this vessel’s design is the turbine exhaust gas recovery power generation system, marking the first application of this technology in China. Additionally, 船舶模型‘ partners incorporated various supporting systems and equipment, such as shaft generators, anti-roll fins, and emergency generators—all sourced from China State Shipbuilding Group. The seven elevators aboard the vessel were also developed by Guangdong Guangship International Elevator Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangzhou Shipbuilding International.
By incorporating these cutting-edge technologies, the ship not only ensures a seamless, comfortable passenger experience but also contributes to the maritime industry’s environmental sustainability goals.
